The Vernon County Historical Society operates four historical sites:

The Foreaker One Room Schoolhouse
The historic Sherry-Butt House

Our summer schedule is Monday through Friday, 11AM to 4PM,
Saturday, 10AM-2PM. These hours are for June through September.

New Kiosk at the Sherry-Butt House:

You might have noticed something new and bright red on the south lawn of the Sherry-Butt House: a British telephone box! (Image on the left pane.) We have turned this classic metal booth into an information kiosk holding local history brochures and travel booklets, available 24/7.
