Conference Room

The conference room at the Vernon County History Center, 410 S. Center, is a great place to host a workshop, small group meeting, public presentation, or even a family gathering. The original brick walls and modern Amish-made wood flooring provide a unique feel to the space, which was a boiler room when the building was constructed in 1918-1919.

This room is on the first floor of the building, just a few steps from the main door to the parking lot. The building is handicapped-accessible, including a large, single-occupant bathroom.

Maximum group size is 30 people, with tables and chairs, or 50 people with chairs only.

Rates (non-refundable):

Non-profit organization rates:

$30 for use of room up to half a day
$60 for all-day use
add $10 for use of media equipment

For-profit business rates:

$40 for use of room up to half a day
$80 for all-day use
add $10 for use of media equipment

Terms:

Please leave the room as you found it - clean, with the tables and chairs in their original positions.
If you serve refreshments, you must furnish all of the necessary supplies and equipment.
You must provide your own garbage bags. You are responsible for taking your garbage with you when you leave.
No alcohol or tobacco.

If you are interested in reserving the Conference Room for your event, you can either fill out the reservation form online, or stop by the museum for a paper copy. Please complete the form at least two weeks before your event.
