On August 26, 2020 the Vernon County Historical Society held a Votes for Women! rally on the grounds of the Vernon County History Center.
Participants were encouraged to dress in period attire and bring suffrage signs with which to "march" in solidarity with the women that fought to get the vote. Watch the video.
The exhibit "Votes for Women: A Portrait of Persistence" was moved outside for the event, and of course, refreshments were served.
Yes, it was very hot, but there was a breeze.
